What is Encephalitis?
Encephalitis is inflammation of the brain, usually caused by an infection (viral, bacterial, or autoimmune). It can range from mild to life-threatening. Early recognition and treatment are vital.

Common Symptoms:

Severe headache

Fever

Confusion or disorientation

Seizures

Changes in personality or behaviour

Weakness, drowsiness, or difficulty with speaking
